Welcome to my second grade class. We will have so much fun this year exploring math, science, social studies, and language arts together. We have some fun units of study that include paleontology, animal research, fairy tales, historical figures, and journalism.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, and a Master's degree in Educational Technology. I have been teaching in Hemet for eight years. This will be my 4th year at Fruitvale Elementary School. I love it here, and I'm sure your child will too!

Teaching is my passion; I strive to create a classroom where students are engaged, excited, and empowered. Education can open up a world of possibilities for your child. However, I believe that we (parents and teachers) are truly partners in education. So, please join me in making this a year where your child can begin to see their potential.

Back to School Night

Fruitvale Elementary will host our Back to School Night on Thursday, August 21. There will be a brief PTA meeting from 4:30-5:00, then classes will be open for parent visits from 5:00-6:00. I will host two parent information sessions; one at 5:00, and another at 5:30. I hope to see you there! Please come with an idea of days that you would be able to attend a parent/teacher conference. I will have sign up sheets available. Conferences will be held the week of October 20-24.
