The best part of the holiday season is spending time with family and celebrating family traditions. Fruitvale Elementary School staff decided to continue their tradition of inviting families to campus to eat lunch with the students.
Each year around Thanksgiving, families are invited to attend a lunch at Fruitvale. The Nutrition Services Department provides a wonderful Thanksgiving-themed lunch for students and their families to enjoy. Throughout the day, nearly 250 people joined the Thanksgiving event.
“This annual event has become a Fruitvale tradition that everyone looks forward to,” said Principal Karen Brooks. She continued to say she is thankful for Nutrition Services because they help ensure the families enjoy their time together.
Thank you Fruitvale staff for continuing this wonderful tradition and providing a wonderful opportunity for families to spend quality time together!
